I had to take the first flight out of New York on Saturday morning so that i could make it in time for our Lunch party with Joy’s friends which we planned before my trip to NY popped up. It was a rough flight with the seat i was in not being able to recline, but i dealt with it and landed back in LA before 11am.
Joy was a trooper making an extra large portion of her beef noodle soup, and it was probably the best one yet. Jeremy made some mussels, and everyone else bought something to the party.
Its always good times when food is the main reason why we’re getting together, and all the kids seemed to have a good time too. I didn’t know it but it was Emily’s and May birthday (about) too so we had a chocolate cheesecake and taro cake for dessert.
