Disney World

Spring break 2023 we decided to go back to Disney World. After are speed run first trip back in 2019 we went with a more relaxed itinerary. We planned a 7 day trip with only 3 days in the park. We left in the early Easter morning and landed in Orlando in the afternoon. With no more Magical Express we rented a car to get to the Hotel. We decided on a split stay at Pop Century again to take advantage of the Skyliner, and Port Orleans French Quarter for an upgraded experience at a moderate resort.

Animal Kingdom

Monday we drove to Animal Kingdom and Leela got to enjoy at the park this time around instead of having to wait around while Alice went on all the rides. Alice finally got to go on the Avatar Flight of Passage ride after talking about it being her favorite ride for the last four years. In the middle of the day it started to rain and we rode Expedition Everest while getting wet.

EPCOT

Day 2 I woke up early and got us on a virtual queue pass for Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind. We took the Skyliner right outside our room to EPCOT and headed straight to the French Bakery for some fresh croissants and baguettes.

Guardians of the Galaxy was a fun ride, although i was worried because i’ve read of stories of Disney having to put out extra trashcans due to people puking after the ride, but none of us had a problem with it.

The other new ride was the Ratatouille ride that got imported from Paris Disneyland. We lucked out that the ride broke down right as we finished riding it, so they let us go on it one more time.

For dinner we went to the signature restaurant Le Cellier Steakhouse in Canada for our one fancy meal of the trip.
