Thursday we headed to Magic Kingdom which was the hottest day of the week even though there was a threat of a storm. I got the virtual queue for Tron Lightcycle Power Run, and we took advantage of early entry to get on some rides before the rest of the park opened up.
Leela was super braved getting on the ride even though she was very worried about when see saw the ride up close. It was a fun ride but still falls below Expedition Everest and Guardians of the Galaxy.
By midday it was getting busy and super hot so we went back to the hotel to get into the pool and rest up before we came back in the evening.
We got on a few rides that we missed last time around with Space Mountain and The Haunted Mansion. We stayed deep into the night watching the fireworks while on Aladdin’s flying carpet and one last ride on Thunder Mountain.
Disney Springs
Friday we had our last day to explore the hotel grounds and spend the day at Disney Springs which we got there by boat.
We had a delicious lunch at Art Smith Homecoming and ordered all the things.
To finish up our trip we ate as many beignets at the hotel as we could. We had some for dessert in the evening and before leaving to the airport on Saturday. Overall it was a great trip, but its time to try on of the international parks next.
