For spring break this year we headed to Waikiki with Nina’s family. It was so nice to have someone to share the same spring break for once. We all flew out on the same flight from Long Beach, and the kids got to site by themselves playing on their iPads and Switches.
We all stayed at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani, on the 8th floor with an ocean view. The pool is mediocre but its right across the street from the Moana Surfrider, and all the food so it makes for a good location for a discount price.
We spent may days and hours at Waikiki, hanging out under the umbrella, eating poke, and riding the waves in our floaties.
Wednesday we celebrated KK’s brithday at Herringbone at the new International Marketplace.
Thursday we took our first catamaran cruise past Diamondhead. I enjoyed hanging out in front the boat getting splashed by the ocean waves.
In the evening Nina watched the kids so Joy and I could have a date night of some shopping, ramen, and exploring our wedding venue again at the Moana.
Friday morning we bumped into our Cousin Debbie who happened to be there for her nephew’s volleyball tournament.
In the evening we kept the kids at the beach to watch the sunset. I took lots of silly videos of them all, and its my new tradition to hang out at the beach until sunset on our last night in Hawaii.
Saturday morning we packed up our stuff and headed back to the mainland.
